These drawings reflect cross cultural and tribal spiritual
ideologies in a symbolically representative idiom.
Angelic images and their conceptual history have been a favorite
genre of Eugenia Marve's. She often depicts them with wings, see
through forms or as cloud formations.
"Angel" is about conscious awakening, and the gift of love and
choices. "Going Home" moves further and addresses the process of
change and evolution. Here death is see not as an end to life
but a transitional process, relative only to the form of one's
existence. Home is a place where energy and consciousness are
both multi-dimensional and simultaneous.
Both lithographs explore concepts of guidance and choice as
integral components in the path to enlightenment; a soul's
journey beyond form.
